Большое спасибо за твое письмо! Я был счастлив получить его. До сих пор вспоминаю летние каникулы, проведенные вместе с твоей семьей. Надеюсь, твои родители чувствуют себя хорошо и все отлично.

Я бы хотел пригласить тебя провести со мной и моей семьей рождественские каникулы. Что ты думаешь об этой идее? Чем бы ты хотел заняться на Рождество? Какие мероприятия ты бы хотел посетить?

You can't imagine how happy I was to get your letter and to read about your wonderful idea! To come to you on Christmas… God, that would be so cool! I don't think we need to plan something special. I'd really enjoy spending time there with you! We can just explore the city, visit some museums (if the entrance fee isn't very high) and sit in cosy cafes. I think your city will look fantastic with all its lights and christmas decorations. I'll take my camera with me.

Thanks again for your invitation! Can't wait to see you and your family! I'll inform you as soon as I get tickets.
