Living in New York Zoo an ambitious lion,a dreamy zebra M,a funny hippo and an eternally patient giraffe are happy with everything and don't imagine theire lives outside of the Zoo. But one day, have met a company of pinguins which has been dreaming about their return to their motherland Antarсtica, the zebra has decided to elope. Other animals decided to find him and return back to the Zoo or to go with him to another place. But all the company was cought at the Central Railway of New York. After this incedent it was decided to send the animals to Kenya by  ship, but the pinguins captured the ship and went to Antarctica by it. But boxes where the animals were hidden fell into water and they sailed to Madagascar cost. First time the animals thought that they have appeared in the Zoo in San-Diego, but have meet local lemurs who have been saved by the Lion from Fasses, they have known that they were at large and there weren't people around there. The Zebra was happy, but the lion got used to comfort and prefered to return back to his zoo. then the lemurs took a deal with them: the lion should protect them from Fusses and they provided the animals with comfort and care. But the lion couldn't live without meat and it made him be angry with his friends. So, the lion could turn back the Fusses and the pinguins found fish to still his hunger. After all the zebra, lion,  guraffe and  hippo wanted to return back to New York by the ship, but the pinguins used up all fuel, that's why they still couldn't do this.

Living in the Zoo of NEW YORK egotistic lion,dreamy zebra M,cheerful hippo and ever sick giraffe are pleased with everything and even don't imagine to live behind it.But one day after the big company of penguins, dreaming to return to the native land of ANTARCTICA was met,zebra decided to escape.The rest animals decided to find him and let him back to the zoo,or at least follow him at another place,but all company was catched in the central station of NEW YORK.After this accident decision was made to depart animals to the KENYA on the ship,but the penguins have captured this ship and  have gone to the ARCTICA on it.At the same time the cages with the animals from the zoo falled to the sea and they were surfed to the shore of MAGADASCAR.At the beginning animals think they got in the SAN DIEGO zoo,but after local lemurs were met who were saved from the fosses with lion who frightened them,they understood freedom is around and no people are close.Zebra is satisfied with the freedom around but accustomed comfort lion does want go back to NEW YORK.Then lemurs have agreement with them:the lion is thier guard from the fosses and  they provide comfort and care to the travelers instead.But lion can't live without meat because of this  was a quarrel between them.However he was able to exile fosses and to satisfy lion's hunger the penguins wich came to the island are getting fish for him instead of meat.Zebra,lion,giraffe and hippo,want to go back to NEW YORK on the conquered ship what is close to the shore but the penguins wasted all oil during their travel.
