Времена - вопрос №1655698

Last month, I attended a reunion of students who had been on the same course as me at university ten years earlier. When I left university, I didn't keep in touch with many people — just my closest friends and one or two of the lecturers — so Ididn't knowwho or what to expect. When I arrived at the hotel where the reunionhad held, most of the guests have already arrived They had chatted in small groups, or standing in the queue for food, or at the bar. Everyone seemed to have someone to talk to except me. Iwas making my way to the bar and stood patiently waiting for the barman to notice me. After what seemed an age, I(A7)...on the shoulder and someone shouted, 'I(A8)… it! You, at the university reunion!' I turned round quickly and faced a man of about my age who I didn't recognise at all.
